Since 2006, we are the proud owner of a Starbend 450 bender.

We mostly work with tempered aluminum tubings that have a very thin wall. The Starbend gives us a very flexible adjustment system and a high level of precision. Even after thousands of bends, there is very little that needs to be corrected to maintain the same level of precision.

Modifying the tooling is simple and can be done quickly. The software that is provided with the machine puts all of the modifications needed, to run the specified program file, up on the screen.

Making changes to already existing program files or starting new ones from scratch is very user friendly, even when using interpolation for complex bends. Everything is displayed on screen, bend by bend, which quickly shows wether or not the new program will be a success. This saves a lot of time and mostly saves us from wasting a bunch of tubes when doing research and development.

Since we only have one of these machines on hand, it is very important for us that the after sale support be reliable and ready to answer our questions in a timely matter. M. Franco De Lullis has always been there when needed and has provided us with quick and reliable solutions when it was required.
