Before we purchased the Starbend CNC Bender we would use hydraulic benders that would take all day to bend and tweak parts. The Starbend took a 10 hour job and turned it into a 1 hour job.
The Starbend has also allowed us to reduce our scrap rate drastically. We can easily go into a program and change a bend or radius on the fly. This has also helped us cut cost and save the customer some money.
The guys at ITEC/Starbend have always been available and willing to assist us with any problems we ran across. Our Machine has been running 8-10 hours a day for the past 9 years without any major problems.
Our experience with Starbend has been excellent! I would recommend them to anybody looking for a new CNC pipe or tube bender. Over the past 9 years a lot has changed so we called ITEC and asked them to do what we thought was impossible. We asked them to build us a new larger capacity CNC bender that would bend some custom tubing sections that nobody else has tried. They accepted this challenge and soon we will have two Starbend Machines running side by side 8-10 hours a day.
I hope, sometime in the near future, we can add a third bender to our lineup. ITEC is who we will be calling when that time comes!
