For 37 years Co-Line opted to limit our tube bending to basic manual bends for specialty production only. We simply avoided production tube bending because of the “black art” of tube bending. As our presence in tube laser processing has grown over the years, so have the requests for CNC bending the tubes we just processed for our customers.
After looking at a wide variety of tube bender suppliers, ITEC quickly stood out. Their attention to our true needs during the time of investigation was enjoyable compared to that of others simply trying to make a sale. Brian helped guide us to the Starbend 800C6 machine for our job shop needs. It offers a wide range of flexibility and its ease of use has helped us transition into production bending with limited pain. Brian, Matt and Franco have also made the learning curve much easier than it would have been with any other vendor through their tech and applications support.
Overall, our experience with ITEC has been exceptional. The Starbend machines are very accurate and reliable but the service that ITEC provides for those machines is second to none. Without a doubt, we would recommend ITEC to anyone – except maybe our competition. We would prefer to keep the competitive advantage of having great suppliers like ITEC to ourselves!
